Saving Lives Through Lit

Many years of my life, beginning around age 5 or so, were spent being victim of some form of violence or abuse. I spent the better part of my life being angry, resentful, and hateful over this. Since that time, I have been using poetry as my form of escape, which ultimately led to writing an auto-biography to document the events of my life. That's when fear took over. I allowed my fears of getting my story out to cause me to tuck the book away for many many years. Recently, after re-dedicating my life to Christ, He gave me a new peace, a new sense of self, a new direction, and a new mission of reaching out and helping his daughters to overcome these obstacles in life. He made me bring my book out, re-write it, and thus publish it! "When is Strong - Strong Enough...How to Push Through the Pain" is due June 5, 2012! As a spin off of the book I created the "Never Strong Enough" internet radio show, where we, as women, will discuss all types of different issues and triumphs that we may face.
